Sticky Notes of Thoughts

…because some thoughts are worth remembering

On The Biggest Break (as observed by a minimalist)

SF-MOMA Richard Serra, an American minimalist sculptor once said that “The biggest break in the history of sculpture in the 20th century was to remove the pedestal.” I started pondering what the biggest break in other types of visual arts would be…. For musical arts? scientific endeavors?  Policy making? Addressing world hunger or outbreaks of infectious diseases? Approaching peace? Would it take a minimalist to point out a simple switch in perspectives or framework to see a paradigm shift?
